Jin Jiang will manage a luxury hotel at a new Hello Kitty theme park in eastern China.
The Yin Run Jin Jiang Resort Anji, in Zhejiang province, is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2014, coinciding with the launch of the Hello Kitty park. It will become Jin Jiang’s first theme park hotel.
“We are thrilled about the opening of Yin Run Jin Jiang Resort Anji,” said Simon Zhang, CEO of Jin Jiang. “It will join two already opened Jin Jiang branded hotels in the thriving Zhejiang province, thus seeing the expansion of our growing brand awareness within China’s eastern region.
“This is a highly anticipated opening for us as it not only will be our first property to be located in Anji, it will also be our very first theme park hotel, which I am confident will run with great success,” he added.
The new luxury hotel is spread across 26,000m² of land and features its own manmade river. Designed to resemble a European castle, the property features 343 rooms and suites, including 43 Hello Kitty-themed rooms. Other facilities include Chinese and Western restaurants, private dining rooms, a business centre, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and 670m² ballroom.
Known as China’s ‘Bamboo Town’, Anji is set in a scenic area 65km from Hangzhou and 230km from Shanghai.
