Jet Airways will operate 16 additional daily domestic flights between now and 28 March 2015, to meet increased demand on key sectors.

The carrier will put on additional early morning flights from Bengaluru and Chennai to Mumbai and late evening services from Mumbai to the two southern cities. Additional daily flights will also be operated from Bengaluru and Chennai to Delhi.

And Jet will also boost its frequencies from Mumbai to Kolkata, Chandigarh, Kochi and Raipur with additional daily flights.

The carrier currently operates nine daily flights from Mumbai to Bengaluru, seven daily flights from Mumbai to Chennai, five flights to Kolkata, one to Chandigarh, two to Kochi and two daily flights to Raipur. In addition, Jet currently operates three flights from Delhi to Chennai and eight flights from Delhi to Bengaluru.

All of the new services will be operated using Jet’s fleet of single-aisle Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
