Tourism in Sharjah will get further impetus with the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Air Arabia signed an MoU to promote the emirate’s business projects and brands globally.
The MoU was signed by Adel A Ali, group chief executive officer, Air Arabia, and HE Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, CEO of Shurooq. As per the agreement, Shurooq and Air Arabia will encourage, promote and facilitate investment and development participation among their business communities to benefit Sharjah.
HE Al Sarkal stated: “We will work together to increase our cooperation in future projects and partnerships. This in turn will contribute to the promotion of Sharjah’s and UAE’s economic and social development.”
Another highlight of the MoU is the enhancement of Shurooq’s efforts to promote Sharjah’s economic, commercial, industrial, and tourism projects globally, in collaboration with Air Arabia for business and investment.
