Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has welcomed more than 1,000 guests as part of its special ‘Frozen’ celebrations.
The visitors from China, Southeast Asia and Taiwan attended the theme park’s Frozen Village on 20-21 and 27-28 June, on specially tailored group tours or FIT packages designed by Hong Kong Disneyland and its travel trade partners.
“The animated blockbuster Frozen has captured the imagination of fans worldwide since its premiere. All the Frozen-themed entertainment, souvenirs and food and beverage items introduced in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort have been hugely popular with Frozen fans,” said Martin Leung, the resort’s travel trade sales director for Hong Kong and international.
“To take the Frozen experience to another level, the resort worked with travel trade partners to tailor-make dedicated Frozen tours and travel packages that immersed guests in the coolest summer they’ve ever experienced.
“The resort will continue to leverage the synergy of Disney’s powerful stories and characters in win-win partnerships with the travel industry to bring refreshingly unique experiences for their customers, who are also our guests,” he added.
The Frozen tours included special musical performance starring Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Kristoff, plus a visit to the snow-filled Frozen Festival Square and photo opportunities with the characters.
Guests were also able to visit the park’s Animation Academy to learn how the movie and its characters were created.
Hong Kong Disneyland’s Frozen Village is open until 30 August 2015.
