Qatar Airways has confirmed it will increase its flight frequencies to Asmara, Eritrea, and to Dhaka, Bangladesh.
From 7 September, flights from Doha to Asmara will increase from four to five times per week, representing a 25 per cent increase in capacity and enhanced connectivity for customers in the UK.
On 9 December, flights from Doha to Dhaka, Bangladesh, will jump from 10 to 14 weekly, increasing capacity by 40 per cent on this popular route.
Operated with an Airbus 330-300 offering 30 seats in Business and 275 in Economy, Qatar Airways said the additional flights will allow even more connection opportunities for customers flying from the UK.
For the Doha-Asmara route, all flights are operated with Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration with 12 seats in Business Class and up to 132 seats in Economy. The Asmara expansion comes nine months after the introduction of the route to the Eritrean capital.
