British Airways’ once again rolls out its ‘flying with confidence’ course in Dubai. The course will be conducted on 17 October 2015 at The Capital Club in DIFC.
The one day course, which has helped more than 50,000 people overcome flying phobias, will be hosted by British Airways captain and course instructor, Steve Allright.
“Today, people travel more frequently than ever before, be it for work or leisure as flying is no longer limited to the rich or famous,” said captain Steve Allright.
Following a recent survey by British Airways, UAE residents said that their preferred travelling companion is either their partner or whole family, with both receiving 37% of results.
Captain Allright further added, “Aerophobia can develop due to a combination of other phobias such as claustrophobia or acrophobia. A lot of people who now face varying degrees of aerophobia are the same people who have flown frequently over their lifetime without any fear.”
The one day course addresses a number of concern areas including how an aircraft operates, turbulence and other technical aspects of flying.
