One of the UK’s most popular cruise ships will return to Southampton in April 2017 to launch its seventh consecutive season of cruises throughout the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
Launched in the city of Southampton in 2010, Celebrity Cruises’ ship Celebrity Eclipse has returned each year to sail from the UK port during the late spring, summer and autumn months. Highlights of the new 2017 season will include a Signature Event Sailing – cruises that take in incredible events – featuring the Roland-Garros French Open tennis tournament, more overnights stays in more destinations and new ports of call such as Frederica in Denmark.
In 2017 Celebrity Eclipse will return to Southampton and offer sailings to Scandinavia and Russia, including one featuring the walled Danish city of Frederica; cruises to Iceland, including an overnight stay in Reykjavik; Canary Islands cruises and those also taking in the Azores; and a popular two week Mediterranean cruise.
The itineraries in the 2017 European programme for Celebrity Eclipse feature more overnight stays in destinations than ever before. As well as popular overnight stays in ports of call such as St. Petersburg, Copenhagen and Reykjavik, Celebrity Eclipse will for the first time also offer an extended overnight call in Lisbon, Portugal and Funchal, Madeira.
A ten-night Spain and Canaries cruise departing Southampton and including an overnight stay in Funchal, Madeira and ports of call in Tenerife, and La Coruna, Spain costs from £1,799 per person based on two sharing Concierge Class accommodation.
Celebrity Eclipse’s 2017 itineraries go on sale to Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club loyalty club on Tuesday 17 November 2015, and on general sale from Friday 20 November 2015.
