Air France has started offering its latest cabin products to passengers on its Paris-Tokyo Narita route.
A revamped Boeing 777 aircraft will be deployed on the route featuring all four new cabin classes, with new La Première private suites in first class, flat-bed “cocoon” seats in business class, and a new style of economy and premium economy seats.
The La Première cabin features seats that stretch out to form beds more than two metres long, along with thick curtain partitions and 61cm HD touchscreen monitors. The business class seats also recline to form two-metre long flat beds and feature 41cm screens.
The brand new premium economy seats offer more legroom and wider tray tables, plus 30cm screens, while the economy class seats have 23cm screens. And all seats come equipped with electric sockets.
By March 2016, Air France will have 30 aircraft equipped with its new cabins, operating on flights to 28 destinations. These include 10 destinations in Asia Pacific: Bengaluru, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita.
Air France operates daily flights to Narita.
