Silversea launches wellness-themed cruises

Silversea Cruises has launched a collection of wellness-themed expedition cruises designed for travellers looking to recharge their mind and body by combining exploration travel with a holistic approach to rejuvenation.  

The Wellness Expedition Voyages offered on board Silver Discoverer in 2016 and 2017 are designed to provide guests with the opportunity to improve their well-being while journeying to destinations off the beaten path in Southeast Asia, Australia, Oceania, Africa, and the Indian Ocean.

Silversea has partnered with Technogym to create a comprehensive and complimentary programme that includes:

• Stretching, yoga, and Pilates classes held on board and ashore (depending on location)
• Fitness classes conducted in the ship’s onboard swimming pool
• Choice of one complimentary spa massage treatment
• Daily lectures and cooking demonstrations on the benefits of healthy and balanced nutrition
• Gym sessions led by personal trainers using state-of-the-art Technogym fitness equipment

Also featured on the Wellness Expedition Voyages is a dedicated team of wellness specialists to accompany guests on their wellness journey. The team includes fitness lifestyle expert Natasha Eksteen, yoga instructor Jenni Kauppila, and nutritionist Dalila Roglieri.
