AccorHotels is inviting students enrolled at tertiary schools in the UK to develop groundbreaking Food & Beverage concepts as part of the group’s fifth annual international challenge, Take Off! 2016.
Each year, AccorHotels designs a theme to inspire students and this year’s theme is F&B, with food having been identified as the number one motivator for travellers.
The contest is limited to the first 300 teams (three students per team) that register online. Working in groups of three, students will have until 13 April to register by posting a photomontage on www.accorhotelstakeoff.com.
The public can vote for their favourite concept from 14th to 28th April, with the top 50 shortlisted teams whittled down to 15 teams by a jury of industry professionals and AccorHotels employees.
In the next round, these 15 teams will be asked to illustrate their concepts with videos and explain them during a Skype interview.
Five groups will participate in the grand finale in Paris on 22 June. The team with the best concept will win a stay in the European or Mediterranean city of their choice.
