Warner Leisure Hotels has become the first UK Hotel Group to be recognised by WorldHost for its excellent customer service.
The accreditation from WorldHost, a customer service training programme, allows Warner to promote the achievement, which is recognised as a standard of excellence worldwide.
The over-55 specialist hotel group now has 60% of its frontline team accredited through the WorldHost programme.
Julie Howe, head Of Culture and Development for WLH, said: “Investing in our teams’ development, ensuring engagement is felt, creating a great place to work and improving the guest experience are of paramount importance to us. The Principles of Customer Service, part of the World Host programme has allowed us to add extra core skills to our way of working toolkits already in place for our Hotel and village teams. We now have 58 Train the Trainers throughout Warner who deliver the programme in house to our teams, a fantastic achievement by a team dedicated to making a difference for both team and guests.
