Katara Hospitality introduces advanced food safety training

Katara Hospitality recently held an ISO 22002-2 food safety training session in Doha, in conjunction with Bureau Veritas.
The ISO 22002-2’s food safety training specifies requirements for design, implementation and maintenance programmes that assist in controlling potential food safety hazards. Hotels, restaurants and dining outlets, hospitals and healthcare facilities, industry dining facilities, as well as mobile catering companies are known to take part in the ISO certification training programs on food safety.
Head chefs, chief stewards and hygiene managers from the company’s Qatar-based hotels took part in the training sessions, with representatives in attendance including those from The Ritz-Carlton Doha, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Mövenpick Hotel Doha, Simaisma, a Murwab Resort, The Avenue, a Murwab Hotel, Sealine, a Murwab Resort and Saraya Corniche Hotel.
