Dusit International has unveiled plans to open a new hotel close to Thailand’s UNESCO-listed Khao Yai National Park.

The contemporary property will offer 79 rooms and suites, an international restaurant, coffee shop, outdoor pool and space for indoor and outdoor events. One of the most interesting features of the resort is ‘Cocoon’, a treetop dining pod which offers a bird’s-eye view of the resort and surrounding mountains.

“dusitD2 Khao Yai is an exciting addition to our expanding portfolio of hotels,” said the dusitD2 Khao Yai’s general manager, Jerome Sim.

“Khao Yai is fast becoming one of Thailand’s most popular year-round holiday destinations, attracting an ever-increasing number of young, tech-savvy travellers, and dusitD2 Khao Yai is perfectly positioned to meet their needs. We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests to experience our unique facilities and Dusit’s signature warm, gracious hospitality.”

dusitD2 Khao Yai becomes the second D2 hotel in Thailand, following an existing property in Chiang Mai. The brand is also present in the US, China and Kenya, and will soon make its debut in the UAE.
