The Costa Daurada’s status as a family-friendly destination is set to be reinforced ahead of the opening of Ferrari Land, part of PortAventura World, on 7 April.
It is the only Ferrari Land in Europe and is home to 11 attractions, including Red Force, Europe’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster.
The FEHT (Federation of Hostelry and Tourism in Tarragona) expect the theme park to drive visitor numbers from the UK to discover not only the theme park but also surrounding region including the towns of Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, la Pineda which have all been granted the Family Tourist Destination Certificate by the Catalan Tourist Agency.
The Costa Daurada is a land of rich heritage. Tarragona was once the capital of the Roman Empire’s Hispania and Roman Tarragona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
