Funway Holidays is highlighting Los Angeles’ cultural side, in particular to families and have put together some special packages.
Malcolm Davies, product destination manager for Funway Holidays, said:
“LA is Americas cultural capital with prestige museums, high-profile art events and a proliferation of bands, record stores and hangout spaces, the city’s cultural life is booming.
“And there’s lots for the younger crowd too such as ‘Kidspace Children Museum’ to ‘Discovery Cube’ featuring a simulated helicopter tour of California’s natural resources.”
“The city’s latest kid-friendly attraction includes the Museum of Ice Cream (opened this April), including 10 candy-colored galleries with installations of ice cream-themed art and science. Kids will love the gallery of suspended bananas to rooms of giant melted lollies, big-as-you gummy bears and a swimming pool full of sprinkles!”
As an example, the Kids Culture in the Sun package offers seven nights in Los Angeles staying at 4-star The Garland. It is priced from £885pp including return flights with United Airlines (from London). Travel is based on a family of four (children aged 5 and 9 years old), departing 17 August, 2017.
