Super Break has launched new Brewtown Tours packages from York and Leeds, which visit microbreweries in the areas.
Available on dates from now until December 17, these tours are combined with a hotel booking and offer a way to understand more about the brewing process and taste locally produced beers. Fully commissionable to agents.
York Tours – Three tours are available depending on the day of the week. Prices are from £115pp including one night’s accommodation and the Brew Tour ticket.
The Malton Tour – Malton has established itself as something of a hidden gem where food and drink is concerned and the tour will take in two of the region’s favourite craft breweries in Bad Seed and Brass Castle before finishing in the Black Swan pub in Pickering.
South-East Tour – Venture outside the city on this tour. It includes the Hop Studio at Elvington Airfield, Half Moon in the picturesque village of Ellerton and Ainsty Ales, one of the newest additions to York’s beer scene. All three pride themselves on producing small-batch, hand crafted British beers with a special Yorkshire twist.
The North-West – This tour takes in Rudgate Brewery (one of the oldest of York’s craft beer producers) as well as visiting Yorkshire Heart’s vineyard and brewery at Nun Monkton before finishing in the city centre at Brew York.
Leeds Tour – Prices are from £119pp including one night’s accommodation and the Brew Tour ticket. This tour includes a visit to the North Brewing Co., which was established in 2015 and produces a core range of five beers.
Its then onto Northern Monk which turns out 20,000 pints a week from its base at a Grade II-listed mill in the south of the city. The tour ends at the Brewery Tap Leeds in the heart of the city centre, firmly established itself as Leeds’s leading city-centre brewpub.
