To be held in six regional cities, across November and December 2017, 150 Advantage members will be given a skills refresher ahead of the Turn of Year campaign launch in early 2018.

Reality Training will provide Advantage members with a full day of training that will take attendees through the value of enquiries, pricing psychology, selling on value and add ons, peak performance and closing.

They will be joined by travel partners for an afternoon of product training and a supplier speed networking session.

Bob Morrell of Reality Training said: “This will be a fun, productive and valuable day for all members. Even the most experienced travel people can still learn new skills and increase their knowledge about product and destinations – this event brings it all together.”

The six Frontliners sessions will be held in:

Cardiff, 21 November
Glasgow, 23 November
London, 30 November
Belfast, 5 December
Manchester, 11 December
Birmingham, 12 December

The Turn of Year Campaign, launched January 2016, was one of Advantage Travel Partnerships most successful door drop and direct mailing marketing activations, targeting existing and potential customers. The redesigned 24-page magazine, printed in an editorial format, generated an 8.2% booking response rate which Advantage hopes to surpass in 2018.

Julia Lo Bue-Said, managing director, Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We strongly believe in offering training for our members as it boosts their business opportunities. Our investment in Reality Training will provide new and alternative training methods to enhance members’ skills ahead of the key holiday booking period and the launch of Turn of Year. Last year’s results from the direct marketing activity were extremely strong and we hope that the combination of training with a proven successful design will engage more customers than ever before.”

To attend a Frontliners workshop the cost per delegate is £35, including lunch. The sessions will run from 9.30am until 4.30pm. Advantage Members can book a space by contacting Advantage’s Business Development Team.
