Slovenia to reveal marketing plans at WTM

Slovenia’s activity at WTM will include new tourism marketing plans and the implementation of a Responsible Tourism and Year of Culture Strategy for 2018/19.
The Slovenia Tourism Board also aims to move towards becoming a boutique destination, improving luxury travel packages.
It also hopes to become a world leader in culinary excellence, with Ana Roš named The World’s Best Female Chef 2017 putting the destination on the gastronomic map.
Tour operator and agent opportunities at the show will include:
A focus on responsible travel and promoting the development of new products with higher added value; emphasis on encouraging trade and consumers to cut their carbon footprint with new tourism initiatives.
At the show and throughout 2018, Slovenia will be announcing a series of new products for operators and marketing support initiatives: Postojna Cave’s 200th Anniversary – Europe’s largest show cave celebrates its 200th year anniversary in 2018.
New 4-star Kanin hotel Bovec accommodating 48 guests in eleven apartments to open, along with the new luxury Intercontinental, Ljubljana.
