Pullman, Accor’s premium hotel brand, has announced the debut of Pullman Baotou, its first property in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
“We are delighted to open our 35th Pullman property. Pullman Baotou is the latest in the fast-growing brand’s network within Greater China, and weaves the brand’s strengths with the historic city’s characteristics,” said Gary Rosen, chairman and COO of Accor in Greater China.
Baotou is an important industrial and manufacturing base in China as well as a hub and logistics business centre for the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Pullman Baotou is located within a mixed-use complex that includes a shopping mall and commercial tower in the city’s new central business district. It’s adjacent to Baotou Municipal Government, International Convention and Exhibition Center, and Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
“Where business meets pleasure”
Rosen added: “Pullman hotels are inspiring – they are places where business meets pleasure – and augment how Baotou is developing today.
“The introduction of Pullman to Baotou, as the city’s latest international branded hotel to launch in Baotou in more than a decade, sets a new benchmark for premium hotel experiences in the city and further enhances the development of Baotou’s new CBD.”
Pullman Baotou’s geographical location features a bird’s eye view of Saihantala Ecological Park, Asia’s largest urban wetland grassland. It’s also a 20-minute drive to the airport and the city’s train station, as well as Baotou’s downtown.
“Surrounded by the upcoming CBD’s new infrastructure”
Jack Xiao, regional vice president of hotel openings and operations, for Accor in Greater China, commented: “Pullman Baotou is sited in a superb location surrounded by the upcoming CBD’s new infrastructure. We anticipate promising business prospects bolstered by Pullman’s internationally renowned offerings and well-appointed facilities.”
