Accor subsidiary Pullman has announced the opening of Pullman Huizhou Kaisa as its 38th hotel in Greater China.
Huizhou is a central city in the Pearl River Delta and enjoys benefits from its strategic location in the Greater Bay Area as it is adjacent to Shenzhen, Dongguan and Hong Kong. Dotted with beautiful forested landscapes with mountains and lakes, Huizhou has been developing rapidly in the past ten years with a focus from its abundant natural tourism resources, high-tech and electronic information activities.
Situated in the CBD centre within the core of Huizhou’s downtown district, Pullman Huizhou Kaisa is part of Kaisa Huizhou Building, the tallest building in the city and a major landmark which includes Kaisa Plaza, a large scale commercial complex with commercial offices, residential apartments and a retail shopping mall. The hotel offers convenient access to the city’s transportation hub as well as the commercial area of Huizhou Pedestrian Street, Huizhou Convention & Exhibition Centre, and popular tourist attractions such as West Lake.
Gary Rosen, chairman and COO, Accor Greater China, said: “Pullman Huizhou Kaisa marks another important step for Accor’s development in southern China and the Greater Bay Area. With the on-going growth of the Greater Bay Area, Huizhou has enjoyed high quality developments while maintaining its leading position as a first-class high tech zone as well as a top ten green city. All of these elements support our strategic decision to open Pullman Huizhou Kaisa in the city. Huizhou is a perfect match for the Pullman brand as the hotel echoes the dynamic vibe of the city’s beauty with its booming economy.”
Pullman Huizhou Kaisa offers 307 well appointed guestrooms including 13 suites and 14 family rooms. All are outfitted with the brand’s signature Pullman Bed. Pullman’s art initiative Art at Play is manifested through the hotel’s details and can be seen on key cards, ceramic mugs and gift bags that animate the brand’s contemporary design philosophy, breathing it to life in every nook and cranny of the hotel.
