ANA increases domestic check-in options to enhance convenience for passengers

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest airline, is introducing online check-in for domestic flights in Japan. Starting at 10:00 a.m. (JST) on 24 June, passengers will be able to check-in online after purchasing their flight tickets.

The online check-in process will be available from 24 hours before the flight until 20 minutes prior to departure. After purchasing a ticket on the ANA website, passengers will be able to check-in online from the comfort of their homes.

Upon arrival at the airport, passengers can use their online boarding passes at the security checkpoints and the departure gate. These new passenger services enhance the contactless check-in process at the airport for passengers as part of ANA’s effort to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment.

In the past, some passengers, such as those traveling with infants or with domestic flight reservations on international booking, were unable to use ANA’s SKiP service, which allows domestic passengers who have made reservations, purchased or reserved seats to go directly to the security checkpoint. The new service will allow more passengers to go directly to the security checkpoint on the day of departure.
