Accor has announced that the newly built ibis Styles London Heathrow Airport East, conceived in partnership with Splendid Hospitality Group, will open by the end of December.
Situated in a prime West London location on Great West Road (A4), Hounslow, the new 125-room hotel is a 15-minute drive from Heathrow Terminal 5 and close to Hounslow East Underground Station, providing guests with direct access to central London. It is also located close to several large business parks, with the hotel designed to cater perfectly for both business and leisure travellers.
The interior design of the new ibis Styles London Heathrow Airport East reflects the local Art Deco architecture of the Golden Mile including the Hoover building, the Gillette Factory and Firestone HQ. Subtle touches throughout the interior will tell the story of the clean lines and geometric shapes of the 1920’s era in a contemporary setting.
“Re-connecting with and supporting the local community”
Stuart Bailey, CEO at Splendid Hospitality said: “After a long period of time we are pleased to be returning to West London with the launch of Ibis Styles London Heathrow Airport East along with our Splendid Residences. Now that the construction team are moving off-site we look forward to re-connecting with and supporting the local community.
“Splendid had owned the site known as Master Robert Hotel for many years and have named the road serving the residences the Master Robert Close in memory of a very popular west London landmark. The hotel has created many new jobs and we are proud to be representative as a local employer.”
