Agoda.com, the online booking site, has formed a new partnership with reward-U, the loyalty programme of HK Express, the Hong Kong-based low-cost carrier.
Under the tie-up, reward-U members will be able to earn up to 10,000 points for each booking made using the PointsMax package on Agoda.com. This will effectively allow HK Express passengers to book their flights and accommodation online and earn points on both.
Since its launch in April 2016, reward-U has added a series of local partners, and plans to add more this year in the banking, retail and travel sectors.
“We want to become Hong Kong’s premier everyday programme and let everyday shoppers use reward-U points like a currency,” explained Steven Greenway, CEO of reward-U. “We are excited to welcome Agoda as a reward-U partner, enabling our members to earn points when they book their hotel on one of Asia’s best-loved accommodation websites.”
Agoda’s PointsMax programme allows users to link their hotel booking with their chosen loyalty programme.
