Air Arabia aircraft to showcase Sharjah

Air Arabia in a bid to show its support for Sharjah Census 2015 will be adding the initiative’s logo to its aircraft.
The carrier teamed up with the Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development to help raise awareness of the census currently being conducted across the emirate.
The airline through a broad partnership with the Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development will work to maximise visibility of Sharjah Census 2015 through planes branding and an on-board awareness campaign. The carrier will also support all promotional events conducted by the Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development to raise awareness.
Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Thani, chairman of Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development said: “The information that is collected during this month-long process will not only provide a uniquely detailed snapshot of Sharjah today, it will also play an important role in determining needs of Sharjah’s residents and business over the next decade.”
Data gathering for the count phase of Sharjah Census 2015 began on 20 October and will conclude on 20 November 2015.
