Air Arabia commences flights to Kosovo

Air Arabia announced its decision to operate scheduled flights to the Republic of Kosovo.
This makes the airline the first UAE carrier to the country. The service will commences with twice weekly service to Prishtina International Airport on 22 November 2012.
The flights will be operated on Mondays and Thursdays. HE Dritan Gjonbalaj, director general, Civil Aviation Authority, Republic of Kosovo, said: “The flight marks an important moment in growing ties between the Republic of Kosovo and UAE.”
Elaborating further Adel Ali, group chief executive officer, Air Arabia said: “We are confident the launch in the Balkan Peninsula will bring great benefits to economic ties between UAE and Kosovo.”
