Air Arabia to connect Cairo

Air Arabia has strengthened connectivity with Egypt with the launch of non-stop services to Cairo. The new service from Sharjah marks Air Arabia’s fifth destination in Egypt and 90th worldwide. From 27 February, 2014, the airline will offer three weekly flights to Cairo.
Flights will depart Sharjah International Airport on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 13:00 arriving in Cairo International Airport at 15:20. Return flights will depart Cairo at 16:00 arriving in Sharjah at 21:20 local time.
Adel Ali, group chief executive officer, Air Arabia, said: “Egypt is a key market for Air Arabia, and by strengthening our connectivity, we are further contributing to growing bilateral ties between the UAE and Egypt. With tourism and trade in Egypt gathering momentum, our new service to Cairo will only add value to both nations.”
The current destinations served include Alexandria, Assuit, Luxor and Sohag.
