Air France has started offering its new long-haul cabin products on flights to and from Bengaluru.
The new cabins have been introduced on the Boeing 777-200 aircraft Air France uses for the Paris-Bengaluru route.
The new products include the airline’s “cocoon” seats in business class, which recline to form fully-flat beds, and brand new premium economy and economy class seats. Indian passengers won’t be able to experience the airline’s new La Premiere first class cabin however, as it does not feature on the B777 Air France uses on this route.
Bengaluru becomes the first Indian city to welcome the new cabins, and forms part of a major five-city roll-out of the new products which also included services to Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Boston and Osaka.
Air France has been gradually rolling out its new long-haul cabins in recent months, and by March 2016 30 of the airline’s B777s will come equipped with the new products, serving 28 destinations worldwide.
