Air France has started flying its revamped Boeing 777 aircraft to Guangzhou, featuring the airline’s latest cabin products.

The twin-aisle jet operating the direct Paris-Guangzhou route now comes equipped with Air France’s new business class “cocoon seats”, which convert into two-metre-long fully-flat beds.  The aircraft also now features a premium economy class option, with more legroom, new seat cushions and larger tray tables, plus electric sockets.

All cabins also offer high-definition touch-screen in-flight entertainment systems with up to 1,000 hours of on-demand programmes, including Chinese language and subtitled options.

Guangzhou becomes the second Chinese route to see the new cabins, following Shanghai. Elsewhere in Asia, they have been rolled out to Singapore, Tokyo and Jakarta.

This summer, Air France and its partner KLM will operate up to 88 weekly flights to eight destinations in China – Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Xiamen and Wuhan.
