Air New Zealand has announced the appointment of Jenni Martin as Head of South and South East Asia based in Singapore, replacing Mischa Mannix-Opie who left the company in October.

In her new role, Jenni will be responsible for sales and market development activity across South and South East Asia, with a particular emphasis on working closely with Air New Zealand’s alliance partner Singapore Airlines.

Air New Zealand will deploy a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the new route

Scott Carr, ‎regional general manager for Asia, Air New Zealand, says, “Jenni’s achievements at Air New Zealand reflect her strong capability and dedication to the company. I’m confident that her experience and deep understanding of the business will help drive success for Air New Zealand in Singapore and the region.”

Jenni Martin said, “South and South East Asia is an increasingly dynamic market and I’m excited about the opportunity to lead our business growth in the region.

“Air New Zealand’s alliance with Singapore Airlines will continue to be a key part of our market strategy. We recently launched a third daily flight between Auckland and Singapore, from 28 October 2018, adding more than 165,000 seats annually between the two cities. This is further testament to Air New Zealand’s ongoing commitment to the region.”
