ANA teams up with Hilton to promote destinations

Japan’s ANA has formed a new partnership with Hilton that will include a new series of guest initiatives and destination promotions.
The ‘Experience More’ programme will be rolled out progressively to a range of destinations, with the initial phase focusing on Hawaii from 1 June to 31 August 2015.
Travellers in ANA’s lounges will be served Hawaiian menus created by Hilton chefs, while TV screens play special films showcasing Hawaii. Hilton will also design special in-flight meals on routes between Tokyo and Honolulu, and a special guidebook has been created offering recommendations on places to visit in Hawaii, and information about the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.
“Hawaii is a favourite destination for Japanese travellers, and our customers always look forward to their leisure trips, even before they board their flights,” said Toshitaka Watanabe, ANA’s senior vice president of customer service & products. “Last December, we enhanced service offerings on our Honolulu routes, and in July of this year we will be adding another flight between Narita and Honolulu.
“Our partnership with Hilton elevates the excitement for our customers, and we hope our partnership will leave an impression to last until the next time they book a flight to Hawaii with us again.”
The ANA-Hilton partnership will run in three phases until 2017, focusing on the most popular holiday destinations for Japanese visitors during the peak summer travel period.
