Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) will commence flights to Kuala Lumpur later this year, using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Launching on 1 September 2015, the new service will run daily, departing Tokyo Narita Airport at 1720 and arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 2335. The return flight will then leave KLIA at 0700, getting back into Narita at 1500.
The launch will continue ANA’s expansion in Southeast Asia in 2015. The airline has previously announced plans to double the frequency of its Narita-Singapore and Narita-Bangkok routes. Both of these routes will be operated twice a daily – Singapore from 11 June and Bangkok from 1 August – with the addition of new daily Dreamliner flights.
Elsewhere in Asia, ANA will ramp up its Narita-Chengdu route from four flights per week to daily from 29 March, using a B767 aircraft, while the Narita-Hong Kong route will be operated with nine weekly B767 flights from 30 March.
Finally in North America, ANA will double its Narita-Honolulu B767 service from daily to twice a day from 17 June, and the previously announced new daily Narita-Houston service will commence on 12 June, using a B777-300ER aircraft.
