All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced plans to launch flights between Tokyo and Delhi later this year.

From 28 October 2012, the Japanese carrier will operate daily services to the Indian capital, from Tokyo’s Narita International Airport. Flights will depart Tokyo at 1720, arriving at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 0020 the following morning. The return service will leave Delhi at 0125, arriving back into Tokyo at 1250.

All services will be operated using ANA’s Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 202 seats – 35 in business class and 167 in economy.

The launch of Delhi flights will come just two weeks after ANA launches its new three weekly flights between Tokyo and Yangon on 15 October.
