The legendary Playboy Club will relaunch in New York later this year, thanks to a Hong Kong-based hotel group.
Cachet Hotel Group, which includes Shanghai’s URBN Hotel among its portfolio, has teamed up with Playboy Enterprises to introduce the Playboy Club as a “key feature” of its new Cachet Boutique New York hotel.
The new Playboy Club New York will see the return of the Playboy Bunnies to Manhattan, who will serve as hostesses and waitresses to the club’s guests.
New York City’s original Playboy Club was established in 1962, but eventually closed its doors in 1986. At their peak, Playboy Clubs were open in 30 locations around the world.
And Cachet is also planning to bring the concept to Shanghai this year, as part of its hotel new in the city.
