Beat the weather offer: British Airways showers discounts
With the children heading back to school shortly and the UK braced for cooler, wetter weather, British Airways is offering 50,000 short-haul seats at GBP 50 (USD 60.69) each-way for customers looking to avoid the crowds and the cooler jet stream during the last days of August and during September and October.
Andrew Brem, chief commercial officer of British Airways said: “As the evenings begin to draw in here, prolong your summer with a European escapade. It’s the perfect time to travel with kinder temperatures, ripening fruit, fewer people and long golden days.”
The fares come as British Airways is investing GBP 6.5 billion (USD 7.89 billion) to improve its customer experience over the next five years, including new aircraft, new cabins, new catering, new lounges, WiFi and new routes.
The fare includes a 23kg hand baggage allowance as well as a selection of M&S treats to buy on board. The airline’s customers can use Avios part payment to pick from a range of savings by destination and cabin.
