bmi regional appoints Martin Whittaker COO

bmi regional has appointed Martin Whittaker as its new chief operating officer.
Martin joins bmi regional from Babcock International Mission Critical Services, where he was a board level executive. With over 35 years’ experience in the aviation industry, Martin has held leadership roles in the Airline, Aircraft Leasing and Airborne Critical Services sectors.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Simpson, CEO of bmi regional, said: “Martin is a highly qualified, experienced and respected aviation executive, and we’re excited about the calibre of knowledge, business acumen and project management skills that he brings to our organisation.
