Forty-two independent travel agents from thirty agencies as well as home workers attended the second workshop of 2016 of BRIGHT (Bringing Real Information & Guaranteed High Quality Training) which was recently staged at the Beaumont Estate in Windsor.
The event was hosted by members from Kirker Holidays, Hurtigruten, 1st Class Holidays, Veloso Tours, Attraction World, Sunvil, InsideJapan, Promotour, Cox and Kings and Mark Warner. Bright’s newest members, InsideJapan and Mark Warner attended their first two events of the year. Both tour operators found the evenings to be very productive in engaging with the independent travel trade.
Agents attended from Coast to Coast, Co-op Personal Travel, Darrell James Travel, Eton Travel, Fare Wise Travel, Fourways Travel, Ian Allan Travel, Karnak Travel, Livingstones Travel World, Meadway Travel, Not Just Travel, Regency Travel, Spear Travels, Sunninghill Travel, Toucan Travel, Travel PA, Travelsmiles and Triangle Travel.
Commenting on the workshop, Hisham Mahmoud, chairman of Bright, said: “Our first event of 2016 in Cobham and our Windsor workshop have got the year off to a great start. During 2016 we plan to meet over 500 independent agents around the UK at our 14 venues.”
The Windsor event was well attended and Bright received very positive feedback from agents.
Top raffle prize given by 1st Class Travel was a Fam. trip to Canada won by Jessica Sheriff from Triangle Travel
Bright’s next workshops and dinners will be at Harrogate on 1 March and Newcastle on 2 March. Please visit www.brightconsortia.com or contact colin@eventsfortravel.com for more information and bookings.
