The event was hosted by members from Jersey Tourism, Cox & Kings, Explore, Kirker Holidays, Hurtigruten, 1st Class Holidays, Veloso Tours, Silverseas Cruises, Viking River Cruises, Attraction World, Sunvil and Mosaic Holidays.

Hisham Mahmoud, chairman of Bright, said: “This was the biggest event we’ve organised this year with the highest attendance from independent agents at our new-style workshop.”

“Our agents gave us very encouraging and positive feedback about what was our first London workshop in more than four years. One agent commented it was ‘one of the best trade events they had attended in all our 17 years in the business’.”

The top raffle prize, presented by Explore, was a mystery fam trip won by Travel Counsellors’ Ben Burgess. During the evening agents donated £200 to the ABTA Charity LifeLine, doubled to £400 by Bright contributions.

“Our members look forward to our final two events of 2015 in the south of England,” said Mahmoud.

The next workshop & dinner events will be staged in the Gatwick area on 20 October and Portsmouth on 21 October.
