Carnival Cruise Line has announced it will now pay travel agents commission on Future Cruise Credits applied to new bookings starting July 10, 2017.

The new commission structure calculates commission based on the value of the cruise prior to the application of the Future Cruise Credit. Previously, the line calculated commission on these bookings after a Future Cruise Credit was applied.

The new commission program adds incremental earning opportunities for the line’s travel agent partners.

“Our team is always listening and looking for ways to offer the best sales and service support we can to travel agents and this commission enhancement is a reflection of that goal,” said Carnival’s vice president of sales & trade marketing Adolfo Perez. “We value the hard work travel agents put into booking their clients, which is why we’ve increased the commission for these types of bookings.”
