Carnival Cruise Lines took delivery of the new Carnival Breeze at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy last week.
The vessel is the 24th to join Carnival’s fleet and left Venice on Sunday for a 12-day cruise to Barcelona. On conclusion of her summer schedule, the ship repositions to Miami for a year-round schedule of six-and eight-day Caribbean cruises beginning 24 November.
“Carnival Breeze represents the continued evolution of our product, offering a huge array of branded experiences for our guests and inviting public spaces each with its own personality and character, all enhanced by the spirited fun that makes a Carnival cruise so memorable,” said Gerry Cahill, Carnival president and CEO.
Carnival Breeze is the line’s first ship to feature the special effects Thrill Theatre; the multi-slide water park WaterWorks; a SportSquare an expansive recreation area with suspended ropes course and all the entertainment elements of ‘Fun Ship 2.0’ which includes adaptations of Hasbro games and Playlist Productions. New dining and bar options have also been introduced to the ship.
