This summer Celebrity Cruises will be hosting seven interactive training events for agents across the UK on board Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Silhouette.
Following four on board training events for trade partners in 2016, Celebrity Cruises has increased the number of opportunities for this year.
Also, for the first time, training events will also take place in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
Lead by the cruises line’s training experts, Leon Hand and Emma Rigby, the learning sessions give agents hands-on experience with the chance to explore the on board features and activities as well as the dining and service.
To ensure the training is interactive and efficient for agents, an innovative treasure hunt, called GooseChase, has been added to the programme which involves agents working in groups to solve riddles that take them to a specific area of the ship.
Once they have solved the riddle and reached their destination on the ship, they go onto the GooseChase app and upload a selfie showing the group bringing that area of the ship to life. The photos are then downloaded by the Celebrity Cruises team at the end of the session and shared amongst the group where a winner is chosen.

The increase in training on board ships comes a month after Celebrity Cruises announced a dedicated hub featuring information, videos and training modules all specific to Celebrity Edge had been added to the Cruising for Excellence Online agent e-learning resource.
The training events will be taking place on board Celebrity Cruises ships in Greenock, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Southampton, and for the first time in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
