Center Parcs, a family short break provider which operates forest villages across the UK, has completed the creation of Treehouses at Woburn Forest.
Built for nature lovers who want to experience holidays amongst trunks and branches, Center Parcs’ treehouse villages have been a draw with its wide offering of indoor and outdoor activities from virtual reality experiences to treetop adventure courses. Its properties enjoy an annual occupancy rate of 97% and welcome more than 2.2 million guests each year.
Following the huge popularity of these treehouse accommodations, Center Parcs created Treehouses at Woburn Forest, which offers three accommodations with one specially adapted for wheelchair access.
Martin Dalby, CEO at Center Parcs, said: “It’s great that our guests have loved the treehouses at other villages and it’s absolutely fantastic that we can now offer this amazing accommodation to families coming to Woburn Forest.”
Treehouses at Woburn Forest
The Treehouses at Woburn Forest is just 50 minutes by train from London St Pancras train station, making it the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the capital. Far from the usual hotel accommodation, the treehouses are close to the lake, in the heart of the forest, where a vast range of flora and fauna can be found.
The accommodation includes a large living space with a fireplace, kitchen, outdoor terrace with dining space, four en-suite bedrooms with private balconies, an outdoor hot tub, sauna, games den, snug area and all the latest technology throughout.
For groups coming in at the villages, the accommodation comes with its own Treehouse Host, who’s on-call if guests need anything during their stay. It also offers shops, restaurants with locally-sourced food, and leisure facilities nestled amongst 400 acres of a protected forest environment.
Dalby added: “Nature and family time are important aspects of the experience we offer, so something this unique and stylish, with family time at the heart of the design, nestled in the trees, is something very special.”
Center Parcs currently operates five villages across the UK; Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, Elveden Forest in Suffolk, Longleat Forest in Wiltshire, Whinfell Forest in Cumbria and its latest, Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire.
