China Eastern Airlines will launch a new direct service to the Czech Republic this summer.

Commencing on 22 June 2016, the airline will offer three weekly flights between Shanghai and Prague.

Services will depart Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 0045, arriving at Prague’s Vaclav Havel Airport at 0635. The return flight will leave the Czech capital at 0835 and arrive back in Shanghai at 0105 the next day.

The route will be operated using a two-class 264-seat Airbus A330 aircraft, configured with 24 flat-bed seats in business class and 240 seats in economy.

China Eastern will become the third Chinese carrier flying to the Czech capital. Hainan Airlines launched scheduled flights from Beijing in September 2015 and Sichuan Airlines connected Prague with Chengdu in February 2016.
