China Eastern Airlines will launch flights between Qingdao and San Francisco next month.

Commencing on 7 July 2016, the new services will operate twice a week.

Flights will depart Qingdao’s Liuting International Airport every Tuesday and Thursday at 1005 and arrive in San Francisco at 0930. The return flights then leave the Californian city every Tuesday and Sunday at 1200 and arrive back in the Chinese port city at 2115 the next day. All services will operate via Shanghai.

China Eastern will initially deploy its two-class, 264-seat Airbus A330 aircraft on the route, before upgrading to a larger, 316-seat Boeing 777-300ER from 2 August.
