CLIA shares travel agent cruise incentives for #DoSomethingNew

CLIA cruise line members are offering agents a number of agent incentives throughout this month.Crystal Esprit

Following the success of the traditional WAVE period each year (December – March), CLIA has introduced its June campaign ‘Do Something New’ as cruise lines continue to offer a incentives for agents selling cruise holidays.

 

The incentives include:

– Play Bonus Bingo and win a place on a fam trip with Crystal Cruises – the fun incentive sees UK agents work their way across five lines on a Bingo card with prizes awarded as each line is completed.

Those that complete all five lines during the incentive period will be rewarded with a place on a fam trip for themselves and a guest.

Agents also have the chance to win vouchers up to £250 plus a number of ‘spot prizes’ for every line they complete. They can earn stamps in a number of ways including catching up with the sales teams, following the sales team on social media, organising a client event, recommending Crystal to a client, taking the Crystal training programme or taking a selfie with one of the sales team.

This incentive is valid until 30 June 2017.

Details of surprise ‘Spot Prize’ stamps will be announced on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so agents should follow @cruiseportfolio for details.

– 100k giveaway with Princess Cruises – agents can win £10,000, £5,000 and £1,000 prize jackpots by making a Princess Cruises booking on selected 2018 sailings in balcony staterooms or above.

The cruise line will be giving away a total of £100,000 tax free to agents. Agents must make a booking using the link to be in for a chance of winning: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/princess100k

Applicable on selected 2018 sailings (cruise code must contain an 8 e.g. G807) when booking a balcony grade or above. Agents can enter multiple times. Each booking will be placed into a ballot to win one of the monetary value prizes as stated above.

This incentive is valid from until 31 July 2017.

 

– Win an Amazon Echo with Silversea – throughout June, Silversea is giving agents the chance to win an Amazon Echo as part of the ‘Silversea Advocates’ programme.

The 10 winning agents will be chosen from a shortlist provided by Silversea’s regional sales managers, selecting agents based on sales performance, marketing promotions or events they have worked on.

In addition to being in the running for monthly prizes, nominated agents will also have the opportunity to experience the ultra-luxury Silversea product themselves on a VIP fam trip at the end of 2017. The places will go to the 10 most nominated agents throughout the year.

This incentive is valid until 30 June 2017.

 

– Earn rewards with Amadeus River Cruises – for every Amadeus river cruise booked, agents can earn rewards points to exchange for prizes. They can be in with the chance of winning Love2shop vouchers of up to £200, a case of prosecco, Beats EP headphones, a meal for two at Prezzo, an Amazon Echo or an iPad mini.

In addition, agents who make a booking before 30 June 2017, will be entered into a prize draw to win a fam trip place to experience river cruising first-hand. The more bookings made, the more chances there are of winning.

The rewards points incentive is valid throughout the rest of 2017. The winner of the fam trip will be announced on Monday, 3 July.

– Win vouchers for every booking made with Avalon Waterways – agents will receive £20 worth of Love2shop vouchers for every Avalon cruise booked. There’s no cap on the number of vouchers that can be won, so the more cruises sold, the more agents can win.

This incentive is valid until 30 June 2017 and is applicable to all new Avalon bookings (2017 and 2018).
