Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) had the opportunity to showcase its 22,080-ton Marco Polo whilst docked in Leith, Edinburgh last week.
Lisa Jacobs, national sales manager at CMV hosted 30 agents for an in-depth ship inspection and lunch onboard, prior to the ship’s departure to the North Cape and the Land of the Midnight Sun.
“We have carried out 13 successful agent ship visits this year all over the country, in London –Tilbury, Newcastle, Jersey, Leith-Edinburgh, Portsmouth, Hull and Liverpool. We expect to have shown more than 500 agents and operators our ships by the end of the year,” said Jacobs. “It is a great opportunity for us to show the people who book our cruises the ships and facilities and different grades of cabins. As well as a good lunch all agents receive a welcome pack with further information and guides to selling CMV”.
CMV has more familiarisation dates available this season including London-Tilbury, St.Peter Port (Guernsey), Glasgow- Greenock and Liverpool. Any agent interested is urged to call agency sales to book a place.
