Asia-based Compass Hospitality Group has signed an agreement to manage the historic Hawkwell House Hotel located in the conservation-designated Iffley Village in the City of Oxford.
The hotel enjoys a picturesque setting with rolling hills that rise from the upper River Thames.
Surrounded by three acres of landscaped grounds, the hotel has 77 guestrooms and suites in the main hotel building as well as in the adjacent Elm House, which was once the home of Antarctic explorer Francis Bickerton.
Four meeting rooms cater for parties ranging from 10 to 200 guests, offering premises for boardroom meetings to wedding receptions.
Hawkwell House Hotel is the seventh hotel in the UK to be managed by Compass Hospitality.
