Costa Cruises has announced the introduction in summer 2017 of two exclusive and innovative cruises intended for those who love the seaside and sun of the Mediterranean.
The first is a one-week cruise on the Costa neoClassica (53,000 gross tonnage and 1680 total guests), running from May 13 through September 30, 2017, departing Saturdays from Bari and taking guests on a voyage of discovery to the finest Greek islands. Featuring on the itinerary are the iconic islands of Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Santorini, with a long port call until midnight, and – last but not least – Mykonos, where the ship will stay overnight allowing cruisers to make the most of the beaches and the local nightlife.
The other innovation is a 7-day cruise on the Costa neoRiviera (48,200 gross tonnage and 1727 total guests), sailing from June 4 through September 24, 2017, departing Savona every Sunday and heading for some of the most popular beach destinations in the Western Mediterranean. This cruise will port in a different place each day: first call Porto Torres, the gateway to the magnificent beaches of north-west Sardinia, followed by the marvelous Balearic Islands, with stopovers in Minorca, Ibiza – where the ship will stay overnight, giving people the chance to go on a tour to Formentera – and Palma de Mallorca; the last port of call before returning to Savona will be Tarragona/Barcelona, with another long stopover.
These two itineraries are a brand new innovation, exclusive to Costa. They are further confirmation of the Italian company’s determination to continuously innovate and provide its guests with truly memorable vacations offering Italian excellence. The two new routes have been added to Costa’s vast range of cruises scheduled for summer next year and are already available for booking.
The Costa neoClassica has a total of 654 cabins, including 10 balcony suites. The Costa neoRiviera has 624 cabins, including 94 suites, 4 panoramic suites with private balconies and 6 grand suites with private balconies. On board there are exclusive restaurants and bars, offering products and brands representing the epitome of Italian excellence, a wellness center, theater, swimming pools, casino, disco, shopping center, kids’ and teens’ clubs and lots of other entertainment amenities.
