Costa Cruises has been recognised among the top Italian companies for employee working conditions. The Italian cruise line was recognised by the Top Employers Institute for the fourth consecutive year and awarded the prestigious “Top Employers 2017” certification.
The program is promoted by the Top Employers Institute. Every year they identify and certify the companies that offer excellence in employee conditions in many countries across the globe. This recognition is awarded to companies which cultivate talent at all levels and continuously invest in the improvement and optimization of their “best practices” in the human resources sector. The evaluation process includes nine main areas: talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership development, career planning and succession planning, compensation and benefits and company culture.
A spokesman for Costa Cruises, said: “The Top Employers Institute has once again recognised Costa Cruises for its results in achieving absolute excellence in the human resources environment, thanks to the continual improvement of training and development policies applied at all levels of the company and to the personnel management strategies.”
Worldwide, Costa Cruises employs a young and international staff from 70 different countries, made up with over 19,000 employees, of which, about 17,500 work on the 15 ships in service and some 1,500 in shore-based offices.
