The Costa Victoria cruise liner has arrived in Asia for the first time with a maiden call in Singapore.
The 2,394-passenger liner becomes the largest ship ever deployed by Italy’s Costa Cruises in Asia, and boosts the company’s regional capacity by 40%.

Ong Huey Hong, Director of Cruise at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) added; “We are very pleased that Costa Cruises has deployed its largest ever ship to Asia, making Singapore a port of call in the current season as well as its homeport during the upcoming winter season. With the soon-to-be-completed rejuvenation of the Singapore Cruise Centre and the opening of Singapore’s International Cruise Terminal (ICT) in this quarter, Singapore is well poised to bolster Costa’s continued confidence in the region.”
The Costa Victoria offers a range of facilities, including three swimming pools, four jacuzzis, a wellness centre, five restaurants, and a range of retail and entertainment options.
The ship will operate 34 short sailings from its homeport of Shanghai to destinations in Japan and South Korea between May and October this year. It will then return to Singapore in November and offer 11 three- to seven-night sailings to destinations including Malaysia and Thailand.
