DoubleTree by Hilton has announced it will open a hotel in Liverpool next summer.
Its debut into the city will be located in the Municipal Annexe Building, an English Heritage Grade II Listed building in the city centre. It will have 87 rooms and retain the feel of the building’s 1865 heritage. The announcement follows new openings for the brand in Leeds, Manchester and London.
“Liverpool has fast become one of Hilton Worldwide’s most exciting cities in the U.K., already featuring our upscale Hilton and economy Hampton by Hilton brands. As our portfolio of hotels grows, I am delighted to see another superb DoubleTree by Hilton project joining the nearly 60 that are already either trading or under development across Europe,” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, SVP development, Europe and Africa at Hilton Worldwide.
